ASX listed, The Citadel Group Ltd, relocate to full floor at 348 Edward St

Formed in 2000 and now with over 250 employees across Australia, The Citadel Group is one of Australia’s leading technology and software companies specialising in secure enterprise information management. Citadel have very recently successfully relocated their Brisbane based headquarters to a full floor premises at 348 Edward St.

Due to exponential organic growth and the recent acquisition of Charm Health, Citadel had outgrown their Brisbane office space at 200 Creek St which accommodated approximately 20 people. Their staff numbers had grown to approximately 50 and further growth was anticipated. Therefore an office space that could house approximately 70 – 80 people was required.

Caden Office Leasing were chosen by Citadel to coordinate their search for new premises.

Citadel’s vision was to:

– Secure premises of between 800m2 – 900m2 on a single floorplate;

– Be located close to Central Railway Station;

– Identify a space that had an existing fit-out that could be re-purposed and a space that had great natural light and pleasant views;

– A building that provided a high level of staff amenities such as End Of Trip facilities and onsite food and coffee;

– And ensure all of the above criteria was met within a strict budget.

Through Caden’s extensive knowledge of the commercial Office market eleven (11) properties were identified that could potentially meet the brief. Caden organised thorough inspections of each property for Citadel’s representatives and following a thorough evaluation of each building short-list three (3) properties that were most suited to their brief.

Caden managed an intensive negotiation process between Citadel and each respective Landlord, and also assisted in managing expectations around fit-out design, modifications and pricing. L14, 348 Edward Street was selected as Citadel’s new Brisbane headquarters. Citadel now occupy a full floor of 874m2. They have modified an existing fitout and have an amazing space that reflects their stature as a leading ASX 200 company – all within budget.
