Problem

  • Due to the development of a new project, Premium Private Wealth (PPW) saw their employee numbers grow too large for their current office space,
  • At that time, their current floor in the Christies Centre was also planned to be refurbished into co-working spaces, leaving PPW with no choice other than to relocate their whole Brisbane Headquarters, after 13 years,
  • The business was given notice to vacate with a short turn-around time, leaving no time to waste,
  • Due to PPW’s requirement of maintaining their corporate perception, the business had a strong preference for being on a high floor in whichever new building was chosen.

Solution:

  • PPW, therefore, required partnership with a commercial leasing agency that had extensive knowledge of the A to high B-Grade office leasing market in the Brisbane CBD – this is where CADEN was engaged to lead the search,
  • To ensure PPW acquired their preferred tenancy, Caden conducted a targeted market search, which took into consideration each factor of PPW’s challenging requirement,
  • With time constraints in mind, it was pertinent that CADEN find the best option for PPW,
  • A mid-tier accounting firm had vacated a large space in Precision Group’s 144 Edward Street just weeks earlier. This left a terrific opportunity for PPW to repurpose a large percentage of the existing fit out,
  • After a number of inspections with the executive team, fit-out contractors and a meeting with the Tenant and Landlord, Premium Private Wealth were able to lease the full floor ( 796sqm) on a long-term lease.
