Lime Medicolegal Expand into 100 Edward Street

Rockworth Capital Partners 100 Edward St has continued to sustain occupancy with internal tenant, Lime Medicolegal taking the last of the recently completed spec fit outs on Level 9, in addition to their initial office space commitment.

Lime formerly moved into the building in September of 2018, having a brand new fit out constructed for them on Level 15 which allowed the business to perform critical Drug and Alcohol testing for Resource Sector employees. The company has since increased in size, requiring a larger space. Lime wanted to maintain their presence at 100 Edward St due to their preference to the location, yet also to ensure their fit out requirements could still be catered to.

With a recent acquisition occurring for the business, Lime required extra space to accommodate the growth of their back of house and admin staff.  Key for the business was maintaining the privacy required to run the testing, which shifted the business’s focus to look at taking on an office intensive fit out.

It was a case of fortuitous timing that a full floor of recently constructed speculative fit outs had just been finished within the building. One of the suites constructed was targeting specialised office intensive tenants which matched up to Lime’s requirement perfectly. One inspection of the 104sqm suite was enough for Lime MedicoLegal to commit to the suite on a long term lease and tie it in with their other initial commitment on Level 15.
