Staff Retention a Key-Driver for Penfold Property at 100 Edward St

After a number of years at 110 Mary Street in a dated, dysfunctional fit out, residential property development company, Penfold Property Group, are the latest tenant to secure a lease in 100 Edward Street’s new spec fit outs.

Penfold’s search was primarily dictated by location and quality of fit out, with a desire to be in a high-quality spec fit out, aiming to attract and retain the industry’s top talent, and a noted preference of having easy access to the South bound M3 with all development work and sales offices in the southern suburbs. A CBD Head Office was a must have for staff retention.

This restrictive brief required patience to fulfil, but Penfold Property, to their credit, did not compromise and persisted for over 12 months to secure their new suite at 100 Edward Street. In fact, since the time they began considering alternative accommodation options, 100 Edward Street was sold, had a tenant vacate, and had the entire Level 9 fit out, stripped and refitted.

As Level 9’s new suites were being finalised, Penfold Property conducted their first inspection and had their entire team through later that same day. These inspections gave Penfold enough confidence in the quality of the asset and its fit out to secure a long term lease.
